SAVITHA, our first case!

Though we decided to help Harinakshi, since she received help from her relatives meanwhile, she did not approach us. Mansoor, our friend, a young social activist referred to us another case through another NGO - Human Values of Hospet.

Savitha, a 19-year-old orphan lady was found on the roads of Hospet in a very hopeless condition. She was sick and unable to move. Human Values admitted her to Bellary Government Hospital and she is still undergoing treatment for various illnesses. During the treatment, the doctors diagnosed multiple fractures in her hip joint, which were all infected badly due to neglect. Right now, the doctors are treating the wounds and also helping Savitha to be on foot by giving physiotherapy. They have prescribed braces and rods to support Savitha to stand. Savitha is being treated free of cost at the hospital but the braces and rods have to be bought from a surgical store in Bangalore and they cost Rs.7800/-. Mansoor contacted SAHYOG and we released funds for the same.

With this small step, SAHYOG has started its charitable activities. Please subscribe to this blog and follow us. Join us in this holy journey.
