Rebirth of Mahesh
SAHYOG was born with the inspiration that we got from little Mahesh, who was diagnosed of blood cancer in the year 2008. God has been very kind to this little kid and today, Mahesh is studying in the sixth standard and leading a normal life, except that he has to go for a check-up every three months. Recently, I happened to attend his School Day function and it was so touching to see Mahesh dancing to happy tunes. I felt like sharing this positive story with all our friends who have helped us in the journey of getting Mahesh treated and are still supporting us to help many needy people.

Our contribution for a big relief in a small way!
Mrs.Swamy is a frail middle-aged woman, weighing just around 40 kgs. But she had been carrying a tumour weighing 58.5 kgs. in her stomach for quite sometime. Thanks to the efforts of some well-wishers and M.S.Ramaiah Hospital authorities, she was recently relieved of this burden through a complicated surgery. This being a rare kind of tumour, the hospital authorities took care of all the expenses of the surgery. Mrs.Swamy is an orphan, living in an orphanage in Tumkur. Now, she needs a lot of medicines and nutrition supplements during her post-surgical period, to get back to normalcy. SAHYOG pitched in Rs.15000/- towards these expenses, so that she can at least be physically independent.

Up Again!
SAHYOG was inactive for some time due to various reasons. We are beginning our activities of the year 2012. Bharath, a youngster belonging to the lower income group is suffering from thyroglossal fistula. He needs to be hospitalized and treated for the same with a possible surgery and post-surgical medicines. The cost of the treatment would roughly cost around Rs.15000/-, as per the estimate of M.S.Ramaiah Hospital, at a subsidized rate. SAHYOG donated Rs.10000/- for this purpose and wishes speedy recovery to Bharath.
Await our next blog on our future projects for which we need great support from all our friends.
