SAHYOG was born out of a small spark that one of the blood donors lit in the year 2008. 8-year-old Mahesh, the son of a poor maid was diagnosed of blood cancer and admitted to the Kidwai Memorial Hospital, Bangalore. Thanks to the tens of kind-hearted well-wishers who helped this kid with money, blood, physical and moral support, today the kid is under remission and is attending school. He will be under observation for another 2 years to be labelled 'cured' but it is nice to see him out of the 'danger zone' and we hope with the prayers of so many, he will live a long life. This inspired us to register SAHYOG, a charitable trust to see many more such children, as well as adults belonging to the poorest of the poor classes, who may be able to get treated for serious illnesses, if only they get financial aid.
SAHYOG operates from HIG 1212, 8th B Cross, Yelahanka Satellite Town, Bangalore-560106, India
The trustees are - Srilakshmi Renganathan, T.V.Raghavendran, Sadhana M Bhat, R.V.Narasimhachar, Sudha Narasimhachar

The trust account is no. SAHYOG ACCOUNT NO. 694104000002592 with IDBI Bank, Yelahanka New Town branch.
